THE MOUNTAIN’S STORY
Fog sits on the coast road. Alpine Petrol’s lights are the only sure things: fuel, coffee, a bell on the door. A coach that is not theirs passes and does not stop. The rumor of unknown lights is not today’s fact. The fog is enough. The Boy buys nothing he does not need. The Polar Bear waits where the forecourt ends, unimpressed by engines.
Stay: Above the road
Tomorrow: Look at the water after dark.
